Northern Rangers held their presentation dinner at the Launceston Football Club on Saturday night the 9th of October,
120 players, sponsors and invited guests attended a fabulous evening that enabled the whole club to celebrate the senior success one last time before it becomes history and the new season becomes the new focus.
As well as presenting the best and fairest winners with their awards from each grade, the club was able to present coaches awards, golden boots and awards for consistency for each grade.
But the coveted Northern Ranger Young Player of the year was on offer, following its inception under Roslan Sa’ad in 2009. After Michael Townsend in 2009, Stefan Jago’s name was etched into the perpetual trophy for 2010.
Jago, still eligible to play Under 18’s in 2010, was the senior leading goal kicker also and was instrumental in the clubs 2010 success, a worthy winner.
