Northern Rangers scored the double in more ways than the Northern Premier League Title, again backing the 2009 success up with the 2010 Northern Premier League best and fairest player, the George Dale Medal.  Todd Hingston took out the award ahead of Devonport’s Chris Mckenna and it was Hingston’s second George Dale medal in as many years.

It capped off a stella year for Hingston, who came to Rangers in 2009, after transferring from Somerset for work.

Hingston scored on 10 occasions for the club this year, and dominated midfield with Derek Schipper, a past George Dale Medal Winner himself.

Adam Whitemore was voted “Coach of the Year” by his fellow coaches, backing up the achievements of Roslan Sa’ad in 2009.

Whitemore in his first full year as a coach has developed his own style of coaching and achieved nothing short of brilliant success in 2010, given the players the club lost from the 2009 season and the way he has developed the youth within the club, managing to repeat the success of the 2009 season and go all the way to the State Wide Championship final.

Sam Luck accepted the premiership cup from FFT on behalf of the club.

What a season it has been, filled with success, but still room for improvement.  We look forward to 2011 with great anticipation.
