President's message:
It feels just like last week we won our first senior premiership, we have had some eventful years recently and 2012 promises to be just as exciting. NRFC seems to be growing out of its ‘young club’ persona, blooding some new members to the board and committee. The group busting with new ideas, is still very enthusiastic about providing an even better club experience in 2012! We have most significantly been able to get representation from every team and a younger batch; committee now = hipster.
On the field for Seniors & Reserves, we were stretched to find the quality of coaches that would continue our ‘pass and move’ psych so we looked internally to our seniors players to create a coaching team (Marshall Pooley, Gabriel Tams & Todd Hingston). The team has support on hand and training quality in pre-season has been high as per previous years. Our Under’s have a new look team, progressing out of the NTJSA triumphantly with their coach Rod Fulton and assisted again by Mel Cuschieri. The Women’s team has also been through a transformation over the off season with Andrew Langley’s Kanga Cup winning girls making up most of the numbers. Andrew is also assisted by Jacqui Latham and Jamie Foskett who will ensure that they give City a fight for the title. Ben Jones AKA ‘Super Coach’ will be taking over from Mitch Billing’s efforts over the years and numbers at training unprecedented for pre-season.
I would like to call on your full support and show your appreciation to our committee, board, coaches, assistants and volunteers for their time and efforts that will continue to make our club great and bring us more Ranger glory!
